The stylish, yet simple, bicycle helmet is specifically designed for use on an e-bike. The higher speeds that can be reached by e-bikes changes the demands put on protective equipment. Uvex city 9 meets the DIN EN 1079 standard, and exceeds the new NTA 8776 standard for speed pedelecs.For high impact resistance have experts selected a hybrid construction with a polycarbonate inner shell and robust ABS outer shell. Six large ventilation openings at the top of the head can be opened and closed. They are controlled by means of two hand-operable sliders – one for the three front openings, one for the three rear openings. Low down at the back of the head are two further openings. The integrated plug-in LED light greatly increases visibility at dusk and is easy to recharge via USB. Both the webbing straps and applied uvex logo are reflective.
